Lindeval is a unique holiday home on Vlieland for 6 to 14 people. It is situated in a beautiful location in the dunes. Everything is close by: village, forest, beach and sea. Ideal for families, (family) reunions, or a great week or weekend away with friends. The house is wonderfully spacious and light, thanks to its design and layout. In the winter it is cosy and warm, with under-floor heating and an open fire. In summertime you can enjoy the large patio and private garden.

LAYOUT
FERRY
The ferry to Vlieland leaves from the port of Harlingen at least three times a day and takes about an hour and 15 minutes. Arrive in plenty of time to park and buy tickets. For up-to-date information on ferry times and crossings, see the shipping company Rederij Doeksen website.
When you arrive in Vlieland harbour, luggage courier Bagagevervoer Vlieland will be ready and waiting to transport your luggage to Lindeval for you.
If you arrive on the 2 p.m. ferry from Harlingen, you will be in time to buy groceries in the village before the shops close. If you wish, you can arrange to have your shopping delivered (there will be a charge for delivery).
TRANSPORT ON
THE ISLAND
Vlieland is a car-free island, so bikes are the main means of transport. It takes less than 10 minutes to reach the house from the ferry by bike. Guests at Lindeval receive a 10% discount on bike hire from Jan van Vlieland (Website only in Dutch).
You can also choose to walk to Lindeval, which will take about 20 minutes. Of course, you could also take the bus or a taxi.

Sheets and towels (bed linen, towels and kitchen cloths and towels) are provided.
The house will be cleaned for you after your stay.

CATERING
It is possible to arrange for all your meals: breakfast, lunch, refreshments and evening meal, to be provided. You can choose the menu or let the chef surprise you. For more information, see here. (Website only in Dutch)
CHILD-FRIENDLY
Lindeval has stair gates on every staircase, there are toys and games for every age and a range of children’s DVDs to watch. There are three child-size camping beds (with extra mattresses) and a cot with side bars, as well as a play pen with its own play mat. SMOKEFREE
Smoking in the bedrooms is not permitted. We would ask that you also avoid smoking in other rooms, or as little as possible. Smoking outdoors is fine.
PETS
We want to make sure that Lindeval can be enjoyed by people with allergies, and for this reason we do not allow pets.
