Vlieland is not the island to come to for city life and entertainment. Guests come mostly for its nature and peace.

For beach walkers, there is a beach twelve kilometres long, and cycling is a joy on this island without cars.
In the winter there is skating on a forest lake, or you could enjoy the pleasure of cross-country skiing through the dunes.
